General Data Protection Regulation

The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). It also addresses the transfer of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to individuals over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.[1] Superseding the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC, the regulation contains provisions and requirements related to the processing of personal data of individuals (formally called data subjects in the GDPR) who are located in the EEA, and applies to any enterprise—regardless of its location and the data subjects' citizenship or residence—that is processing the personal information of data subjects inside the EEA.

How we process data

The first important step for the user is to allow his microphone. Browsers are asking for permissions and nothing is performed without customer approval.

It is always a good idea, if you install Voxpow to your website, to add a separate page with more information - how the voice will be processed.

We are not keeping the real voices of the users in form. The only information which we can store is the searched message in the form of plain text and the page, where the search is performed (only for PRO plans).

In the process of storing/managing data, we are using different intermediates like "Amazon Web Services" and "Google", but we are using the security protocols to make everything as secure as possible.
